I will update my blog with more beautiful photos from Maine, but for now here are some food photos for you all to salivate. =)
This fried clams dish was highly recommended by many blogs, but it was unimpressive. I have both the bob's and lillian's styles clams. They're just deep fried.

Lobster roll at The Clam Shack was good, but the bun should also be toasted and buttered up on the outside. Big chunks of lobster and very light mayonnaise.

We stayed at the Kennebunk Inn in Kennebunk, ME as recommended by my bestfriend. I was not disappointed! The inn was extremely cute and quaint. The Academe Restaurant at the Inn was probably one of the best restaurants in town. The lobster pot pie was to die for! It was a creamy broth with peas, corn, potatoes with huge chunks of lobster topped with a puff pastry. Nommmm...

While waiting for a table at J's Oyster, we made our way three blocks down in downtown Portland, ME to get a lobster roll at the Portland Lobster Co. It was definitely good and the lobster chunks were huge!!

We were so excited to get steamers as at this point, we were all lobster out. I know...weird to say. The steamers were perfectly cooked. It was sweet and tender and we dipped it in butter and Tabasco sauce!
